Yeah, it is the famous Three pools mirroring the moon, one of the ten best-known scenic spots on the West Lake. The three stone pagodas were set up by Sushi at Song Dynasty. The stone pagodas were first used as a mark that no lotus, water chestnut shall be planted in the area covered by three stone pagodas to avoid obliteration of the lake. The original stone pagodas were distorted at Yuan Dynasty, the one we are now looking at were rebuild at Ming Dynasty. The three stone pagodas show almost an equilateral with 2 meters high and 64meters apart from each. The middle of stone pagodas look like balls with 5 holes and reliefs surrounded while the tops look like three gourds. There are fairy tale says that three water demons were sealed by the stone pagodas in the deep of the lake. Maybe someone will feel a kind of familiar of this scene.
