I have a question about SetRTF() method, I understand your intention is to set the content of the rich text editor, but why you have to do it through

MemoryStream

MemoryStream

and then load it from there into the editor.

I open the solution and run it with Visual Studio 2015, I get exceptions here no matter what the parameter rtf is, you try to catch the exception thrown by range.load(), but the program still crushes.

I'm also making an RTF Editor and I have used your approach, but...

If you start the application and the first thing you do is change the font, the newly selected font is reverted as soon as you start to type! Do you have any clues why that is and even better how to fix it?

Without any modification, I found that only the Mainwindow under the Visual Studio 2012 would open and not even Window1, let alone RTFEditor or any access to the user-controlling RTFBox.

Is there a way to open the RTFEditor or to access the RTFBox class under the namespace of RTFEditor?

The class RTFBox seems to be completely isolated from any of the two windows: MainWindow and Window1.

I hope someone in the community would like to spend a little time to answer me the question.

I've finally found out why the WPF RichTextEditor with Toolbar does not work. "WPF RichTextEditor with Toolbar" was written in an older version of Visual Studio, many of its older arrangements/assets were obsolete. The topic of "Visual Studio 2012 Compatibility" for Visual Studio 2012 -> (v=vs.110).aspx clearly explain that "Some solutions, projects, files, and other assets that you created in Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) will run without modification in Visual Studio 2012, but others have to be upgraded. This document describes how various kinds of assets behave in these two versions of Visual Studio."
