- Ardent Defender seems to be somewhat worth it in the expansion. Like many have been saying for some time now, Stamina takes up half the item budget it used to, so players have loads more life (at 67 in instance/quest blues I have 6.7k health and 6.4k mana unbuffed: one warrior managed to get 11k health fully raid buffed). While mob hits have in fact increased to somewhat adjust for this, I would say that Ardent Defender against like level instance mobs would be fairly useful.

Short Version: Its awesome as a workhorse damage seal and has its place in tanking, support melee dps for small/mid/large group play, and soloing. For Paladins who wish to do damage and havent yet found a good two-hander to get big SoComm numbers with, this is the Seal to run with. Its a seal that is suitable for all specs.
