In simple terms, CDMA is Telecom Card, CDMA mobile phone can only insert telecommunications card for example: 133,153,189 etc.. Professional point: CDMA ( Code Division Multiple Access ) also known as CDMA, is used in wireless communication technology, CDMA allows all users to simultaneously use all band (1.2288Mhz ), and the other user signals as noise, need not consider completely to signal collision problems ( collision ). CDMA provided in speech coding, speech quality than the current GSM, and the user can save the dialogue when ambient noise is reduced, so that the conversation more clearly. On the safety performance, CDMA not only have good authentication system, because of its transmission characteristics, use the code to differentiate between users, to prevent being stolen listening ability greatly enhanced. Wideband CDMA ( WCDMA ) broadband CDMA transmission technology, important for IMT-2000basic technology, will be the third generation of digital wireless communication system standard.
From 2008October 1st start of Unicom's CDMA business by China Telecom operators.
As of March 30, 2011, China Telecom mobile users exceeded 100000000, become the world's largest CDMA carriers, it is also the first breakthrough in the 100000000subscriber mark CDMA operators.
