3.活性炭原理 多用本质、煤质、果壳（核）等含碳物质通过化学法或物理活化法制成。本法是利用天然产物在各种不同物理状态的二氧化碳中溶解性的不同，从植物原料中提取所需要的物质。椰壳活性炭可去除水中嗅和味、色度、余氯、胶体、有机物(合成洗涤剂、农药、除草剂、杀虫剂、合成染料、三卤甲烷、卤乙酸、内分泌干扰物如邻苯二甲酸酯paes等)、重金属(如汞、银、镉、铬、铅、镍等等)、放射性物质等,是净水器中使用最早、最广泛实用的净水材料,在家用反渗透纯水机,以及多数超滤、陶瓷、kdf、uv等净水器中,都会用到椰壳活性炭.椰壳活性炭和kdf都能去除水中余氯,椰壳活性炭在活化过程中形成大量的各种形状的细微孔,构成了巨大的具有吸附作用的表面积,其比表面积为500~1200m2/g,比表面积越大,吸附效果越好。粉末状活性炭是通过将各种活性炭的筛下物进行磨粉而制得，其中由压块（片）破碎炭、圆柱破碎炭和烟煤活性炭所制得的粉末状活性炭，比由圆柱状活性炭和活化无烟煤所制得的粉末状活性炭具有更高的碘值和亚甲蓝值。
