此次项目反映了刘韡在艺术实践过程中的重要转变，对于中国社会政治与城市景观变化的做出回应。户外（Outdoor）系列绘画作品，受到法国哲学家布鲁诺·拉图尔(Bruno Latour)对人类与自然关系研究的影响，描绘抽象空灵的风景。tapestry5与过去基于数字图像的油画不同，艺术家专注于色彩与有机形式，试图以流畅的画风唤起别样现实。
