IP多媒体子系统(IMS)是3GPP在R5提出的用于控制多媒体应用的平台。它从而集成移动通信与Internet技术而将Internet服务的强悍性能及丰富资源带入移动环境,它也被看作是将来网络整合的缓解方案。目前,IMS已经变成业界一个热点话题。随着多媒体业务的快速演进,传统的“尽力而为”的IP服务由于其不可分析的阈值和丢包性能,已不能满足他们更加下降的对业务品质的要求。网络科技的很大变化给打造新型网络的管理平台增添了挑战,也给基于IMS的下一代网络业务的服务品质管控(QoS)和保障带给了新的挑战,所以,如何确保IMS系统的服务品质作为了一个关键的难题。论文目的是要解决下一代网络中IMS的服务品质难题。本文首先介绍了IMS系统,结合QoS的通常原理与科技,分析了完善基于IMS的下一代网络QoS管理平台的大背景。之后,根据IMS的特征和服务品质管控的基本规定,深入探究了IMS中管理层、网络层和存储层的QoS控制体系的推动方案,并具体地剖析了基于策略的QoS管理、区分服务模型和SIP信令的QoS,在此基础上设计了一种基于策略的E2EQoS机制。
