hi;

great class.. it was a real help for people like me who are new to this field...but i have a small problem... once i load a .jpg into a desired frame and then again want to load another image in the same frame ... in this case how do i unload the image from the frame i.e detaching the image and loading a new a image.

kindly help me in this regard.

maybe if I have time I'll do PictureShow II with GDI+ stuff...

I have used CPicture class in my several projects and it works very well. In my latest one, I have to use an ActiveX control for displaying picture in UI.

Do you have any plan to convert the class to an ocx control?

You can use a very similar project that was published on MSDN

(Check last two or three messages on this forum)

it uses a control (I think OCX)

it's not very complicated to create a control out from my CPicture,

I don't plan to do that (unless U wanna pay for it...)

I've got a single dialog application.

I entered the code as proposed into the OnPaint();

The right image is shown on startup.

When the picture is changed while running (picture search criteria OnChange() changes picture to first picture matching), its not updated.

If I switch to another Application, and switch back , the OnPaint() function is called and the picture is updated.
