它也是nvidia笔记本显卡的性能分水岭之一，往上就是geforce gt640m和gt650m，这两种显卡属于中端，配备gddr5显存颗粒，而gt635m只配gddr3显存颗粒。这样说吧，戴尔那样的外星人笔记本，专门为游戏设计的是可以换的，一般的几千元级别的笔记本是不可能的，普通笔记本显卡的gpu芯片是单独一块独立的芯片，配有独立的gddr颗粒（显存颗粒），因此叫做独立显卡，但是这种独立显卡无论芯片还是颗粒都是直接焊接在主板上的，这样做成本控制和技术规格方面更容易一些。再说下显存的问题，核心显卡由于没有配备单独的存储颗粒做为显存使用需要通过内存控制器控制一部分动态的内存分配给显示核心作为显存使用，这样速度方面就相对劣势与具备独立的专属高速显存颗粒的独立显卡核心了。
